Boxing with Carlos!!
If you trying to get a real work out from a real boxer and an excellent teacher this is the place for you!!! Carlos is truly dedicated to making you reach your full potential, whether it is to get in shape or to become a pro. No matter what your intention is he will work with you and dedicate enough attention to ensure proper technique, and believe me with his training you will want to get in the ring to test your newly found abilities!! LOL

Best BJJ in Texas
Tim and the CGT team are as good as it gets. No matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned BJJ player you have something to learn from CGT Team. The relationship the team has is one of a kind and I feel that everyone at the school wants to help you become a better BJJ athlete. No meatheads allowed and no matter what your goals you can get something out of the Carlson Gracie school. The boxing coaches are world class! Daniel and Rebekah are the best office managers and for those who are military they are always willing to work with your TDY and work schedule! Oss!

The pure product
The Jiu Jitsu here is UNCUT and not diluted. Simple fundamentals taught with emphasis on technique. Instruction is precise in a friendly atmosphere of camaraderie and mutual pursuit of excellence. I am a former Special Forces NCO and I would recommend this academy to my team mates!

Teaching & Training at it's best.
My wife, and I have been training at the Marbach location for about 2 weeks. She's doing the circuit training with Daniel & Carlos. Both are wonderful trainers. They push you to be the best you can with out burning you out. Their positive attitudes make you want to excel in your training! With their class you will see result in with in a week, but you must be dedicated!
As for me I train BJJ with Huanderson Pavao, a 3rd degree black belt. He may look intimidating, but he is the nicest, and most professional man I've met in the art! He takes the time with each student, and encourages them to be social with one another. I've always to believed communication is the key to success in anything you do, and Master Pavao utilizes it well. Over all his class will push you to be the best you can,and you will leave knowing you are training with an elite member of the San Antonio BJJ community.
To round out this review All the trainers are superb with kids. They give them the self esteem to excel in what ever path they take. Whether it be boxing with Carlos & Daniel, or BJJ with Master Pavao. I promise your kids won't want to leave!

Great Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Training, Run by Good People
I've trained at many BJJ schools, and this school is hands down my favorite. Whenever I'm in town, I go here. Andre has a superior knowledge of BJJ and teaches it in a way that is easy to understand. He also gets into the little details of each move that make them really effective.
On the management side, you can't get any better. It is a family run business, and the owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. Each visit, they have been so accommodating to me, to the point that they even let me wash my gi in the academy's washing machine!
